Welcome to the first blog of 2019! We are having a very busy and exciting time so far. Primary 6/7 have completed the last few weeks of their swimming block so PE slots will return to being a Monday and a Wednesday. Please ensure children have their kits on these days. Children have also had a four week athletics input from active schools and will be taking part in a festival on Wednesday 20th February 2019 (competing against other schools). I'm sure Saint Martin's will do well! We also attended Clyde in the Classroom at the Science Centre and now we have brown trout in our GP room to look after and learn about life cycles. They will be released in three weeks time! The children have done an amazing job of looking after them so far. Safer Internet day on 5th February was a success and all children had input on the 2019 theme which was 'Consent'.
